Looking to alleviate guilt while indulging in a chocolate fix? This lavender black bean brownie recipe offers the added bonus of calcium and iron from lavender as well as protein, iron and fiber from the black beans — and your taste buds will never know the difference. Enjoy!

2 C. black beans (pre-soaked)
3 eggs
2 tsp lavender flowers
3/4 C sugar
4 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp  vanilla
3.5 Tbsp olive oil
1/4 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt

Blend ingredients until smooth then pour into a greased 8″x8″ pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before cutting.
